Game Reviews:Elder Scrolls IV:Oblivion

Today,Ill review some games i have been playing(Playstation only)

The Elder Scrolls IV:Oblivion GOTY Edition

STORY:
The game starts with you in the Imperial City's jail (you'll get used to it later...) when the King Septim and his guards the Blades come down to the dungeon, saying that there is an attack underway by assassins, and the escape tunnel is in your jail cell (At least you didn't had to dig one to escape).

The King (voiced by Patrick Stewart) claims that you are the chosen one,as he has seen you in his dreams.
After a while a Royal guard tells you that you can't follow anymore, and you have to find another way...there goes a tutorial run...

You again find yourself with the king and the Blades, this time they want you to guard the king

Long story short, the king dies but before that he gives you the Amulet Of Kings,a royal trinket which can be worn only by the ''Dragonborn''(king's bloodline) and asks you to find his missing heir(the otherones were killed by those assassins)

Two quests later you find the heir to the throne, but lose the amulet...The story continues...

Gameplay
You can do anything in this game, from being a crook,to being a GOD(only with the Shivering Isles expansion)
-Guilds:there is a lot of jobs out there, and many prizes!
jobs:Thief,Mage,Fighter,Assassin,Blade...a Madman...and many more
(Note:I suggest the mages guild first, becouse after clearing it you become the Archmage with access to altars for custom spells and enchanting weaponry, which can be very usefull when playing a spellcaster character)

And the map...Don't try walking across it (around 24 square miles...or was tha kilometers?)

Graphics:
To quote the Duke:''It's Good!''

Many Npc's with sync audio/visual

Only one thing heartbreaks me though...you can't choose facial hair for your character TTT_TTT

The GOTY (Game Of The Year) edition also comes with two built in expansions:The Shivering Isles and The Knights Of The Nine,In my opinion, they are good, but KOTN is too short,in it you seek the holy relics of the Divine Crusader in order to destroy the evil king Umaril...Most tasks for the relics are peacefull, the only battle is the one after getting the Mace of Zenithar, after you go back to the main area of the chapel, there you will find a small group of enemies attacking the priests.

After collecting the relics, you will be directed by the prophet to a small ruin near Anvil for the battle against Umaril(you can collect the relics under 45 minutes if you hurry) and then you will seek him out and kill him once, then again in the spiritual realm...Game Over...that's it...nothing more...a hour of gameplay

The Shivering Isles on the other hand is full of content,in the expansion you are the champion of the daedric prince Sheogorath, trying to stop the Greymarch from destroying the isles
-new enemies
-new equipment
-new items
-new magic
After completing the main quest you become Lord Sheogorath(title only) the king of the isles...with a sh*tload of benefits and one duty-protect your kingdom!

Protecting the isles is easy, you only have to kick some asses and collect the reward, that's a good way to get money, since the reward is 500 to 1000 gold per village(1000 if you don't send the guards)

My grade for it: 7 out of 10
